The below graph showcases the evolution of sales (in value) from January, to April of 2024. We can see a steady increase over the course of 3 months. For context, the AHBC Group team performed an audit for the client in January thanks to which we shared some strategic recommendations. In February, the client hired our team to manage their Google Ads. They handed over the management of their entire marketing operations in March of 2024. We included the sales data for the month of January to serve as a baseline.
At the onset of our collaboration with the B2B client, we delved deep into analyzing their existing marketing mix, pricing strategy, and brand positioning. That being said, it is all about what to do with a marketing budget. As shown in the graph below, the monthly marketing budget went from roughly $30K in January to about $20K in April, and still enabled us to drive those results. This also resulted in a drastic decrease in marketing spend vs. sales, from 15% of sales going towards marketing to 1.58%. To put it simply, we gave this client more bang for their buck!
