Fonteyne Art & Photos was founded by photography artist Marine Fonteyne. With Belgian, Brazilian, and Italian origins, and currently based in Miami, Marine Fonteyne infuses her fine art photography with a warm and sunny feeling.
Fonteyne Art & Photos is currently successful through word of mouth amongst young couples and families, with a love for travel and art and an eye for quality. In order to reach a wider audience through targeted actions, we want to reinforce Marine Fonteyne’s art positioning as Museum-quality fine-art photography for modern interiors. To convey this positioning and assert Marine’s status as a fine art photographer, as well as to support future marketing actions, we are looking to elevate the brand’s visual identity.
The brand’s name: Fonteyne Art & Photos, is in reference to its founder, art photographer Marine Fonteyne. Marine creates cheerful, sunny & pleasant fine-art photography for modern interiors that follows rigorous museum quality standards.
We were inspired by the universe of Marine, which mixes beachy vibes, travel, and movement. We wanted to create a minimalist yet recognizable design that will complement Marine’s work without overshadowing her art.
Our main challenge was to convey a warm and personable image, appealing to a variety of targets (including potential clients and prescribers), while proposing an elegant, elevated and polished look and a unique brand identity, enabling the artist to make an impacting impression.
Elegant Wanderlust
With this concept we are following the direction set by Marine with her work, combining elements of wanderlust in the subjects, with a predominance of water, beach, travel shots, and Elegance, which we can find in the way the subjects are treated with a modern edition and museum standard materials.
After working on Fonteyne Art & Photos‘ Brand Identity, we worked on the artist’s social media strategy & designs. The objectives were to:
We designed an Instagram-first feed that would enable to showcase Marine’s work, without overshadowing it with designs, while creating impacting, shareable and personable content.
Each type of content fits within one of our content pillars and ultimately matches one of the brand’s objectives.
Lastly, we worked on captions that would match Marine’s creative strategy.
